With equal parts success and despair, 2019 has been a rollercoaster year for ACCELERATE Special Gasoline brand ambassador Giordano Lupini. Crashing out of races twice, and dealing with the resultant fallouts (read: what to do when you lose your race car), lesser drivers would have buckled. But young Giordano is made of sterner stuff, clawing his way back to within reach of the Burly Pro GTI Challenge championship title.

There’s been a bit of a break between Power Series Round 8 and this, the final round, on Saturday, but the rest can only do Giordano good after the dramatic highs and lows of the 2019 season. He’s taken the time to ready himself and his yellow go-go golf for this weekend’s racing – and with a 20-point lead, Giordano needs to finish in front of his nearest rival in Saturday’s sprint to clinch the series title.
