Described as Africa’s premier motorcycle enthusiast and music festival, the South Coast Bike Fest takes place between the 27th and 30th April in Margate, KZN. Last year’s festival drew a staggering 60 000 visitors, who lapped up the event’s motorsport and lifestyle activities, and this year’s festival goers have loads to look forward to including a Mass Ride, the Dezzi Festival of Speed at nearby Dezzi Raceway, a Classic Bike Club Show, lots of tasty treats at the Pop Up Village Food Truck Court, and a host of lively music acts – featuring some of South Africa’s biggest stars, including The Springbok Nude Girls, Kyle Deutsch, Aewon Wulf, Goodluck, DJ Fresh, Babes Wodumo and ECR’s very own DJ Deon G. Round Two of the Southern Africa Enduro-X Series, hosted by Powasol Events, takes place on Monday, 30th April at the Extreme Experiential Zone at the South Coast Bike Fest. Enduro-X is an exciting hybrid between off-road endurance racing and motorcross and is conducted over a specialised dirt track set up to test riders’ skill and speed – watch South Africa’s top Enduro-X riders race around the spectacular beachside track, designed and built by organisers Powasol Events.
Fifteen 20 litre drums of ACCELERATE Special Gasoline are up for grabs for intrepid riders, courtesy of SA Oil, who will be awarding the top two riders in each class, plus some lucky random competitors who’ve worn their racing hearts on their sleeves, with a drum of this speedy new fuel product.
